Amazon listing audit

Paste a title and five bullets. You get every restricted term, the character count for your marketplace, and a list of what to fix — before Seller Central flags it.

What this checks

CheckWhy it matters
Title length vs. your category limitOver-limit titles get truncated in search and can be suppressed
63 restricted terms (medical, absolute, promo, trademark, unproven)These are the words that trigger takedowns and audits
ALL CAPS runs and special charactersAmazon style rules; also hurts readability
Primary keyword positionMobile truncates around 80 characters
Repeated wordsKeyword stuffing is penalised and converts worse
Missing size / pack countThe #1 reason a listing gets returned or ignored
Brand at position 1Required style for most categories

This is a rule checker, not a copywriter. It tells you what is wrong; it does not write your listing. Need 500 SKUs? Use the bulk CSV version.

How the check works

The checker reads text, not the page. It lowercases everything, then matches each restricted term at word boundaries — so “sale” flags “on sale” but not “wholesale”, and two occurrences of “best” are counted twice. Symbol terms such as 100% and #1 are matched literally, because word-boundary logic does not apply to them.

Length is counted in characters including spaces. The keyword-position check looks only at the first 80 characters, because that is roughly where mobile search truncates.

What it does not catch

The 18-point checklist covers the structural items, and the image guide covers the visual ones.

Who it is for

Sellers running 20–500 SKUs who edit their own listings, and agencies doing a pre-upload pass before a bulk file goes into Seller Central. Below 20 SKUs a manual read-through is usually faster; above a few thousand you want an API integration rather than a browser tool.
